You know that weird girl roaming down your college hallway, intermittently chuckling to herself? That’s Danielle in a nutshell. Hailing from Emeryville, California (that place in between Oakland and San Francisco that no one speaks of) Danielle is known throughout the Bay Area for her various talents in the art field as well as for her non typical approach on life.

She is a graphic designer, aspiring photographer, fashion enthusiast and full time nerd. Founder of ÜberDORK Designs, a professional freelance design company. Also the founder of For Nerds Only Apparel (4NO), a clothing line combining urban styles with nerdy styles resulting in that “cool nerd” look.

Your typical designer answer about future ventures is to own a design firm or to become famous for their design skills, but Danielle’s focus isn’t to become famous but rather to be great at what she does regardless of recognition. To Danielle it’s not about who know knows your name it’s about who knows your work. “My designs speak for me, and shed a light upon who I am” -Danielle A.

Avid readers of the AnmlHse blog should already be familiar with Grande Marshall, but here’s a nice compilation video for those who aren’t up on game yet! These visuals were shot at Brooklyn’s very own Southpaw (which is closing it’s doors in February *tears*), during BarrelHouseBKLYN‘s “Locals Only” artist showcase. The whole event was LIVE, and our good friend Cory Townes (of Babylon Cartel) held it down as the host for the night.
