New Music: Asaad

Last night I made my way to Asaad’s Listening Event at The Roots Studio to vibe out for the night. I was given an advance copy of the mixtape a few weeks prior and was stoked at the quality and the deliverance this young emcee brings to the Philadelphia scene. Through the night, as he went through 15+ tracks with a handful a bonuses I have never heard before I was more than assured that he is an artist that will become well respected in a matter of time. Flowers will be presented by the good folks over at Uristocrat and will be available for download on 11.10.09.
